World Geothermal Congress 2021+1 - Monthly Event 11-12 May

The World Geothermal Congress 2020+1 is now underway with a series of monthly virtual events. Over 2,000 papers will be presented in video format, giving the audience the opportunity to interact with authors and presenters.

This month’s event takes place on the 11-12 May and comprises a programme of technical papers focusing on Geosciences.

Dr Andrew Jupe of altcom will present a paper on "Seismic Monitoring at the United Downs Deep Geothermal Power Project, Cornwall, UK," - with co-authors Ryan LAW and Jane CHARMAN from geothermal Engineering Limited - on Wednesday 12th May. The presentation can be accessed via the link below:

Altcom will also be exhibiting its microseismic services at the three-day on-site/ hybrid conference in Harpa Conference Centre in Reykjavik, Iceland on 24-27 October 2021, (subject to the global travel situation). The eventwill be streamed on-line giving those of our community who still cannot travel a chance to join the action.
