European Geothermal Congress 2016

Altcom Limited exhibited its microseisgram software and consultancy services at the European Geothermal Congress 2016 (EGC 2016) that was held in Strasbourg, France, from 19 to 22 September 2016.

Organised every 3 years, EGC is the largest geothermal technical event in Europe.

It consists of a week of varied events designed to appeal and support and develop everyone working in the field, both in and outside the continent.

More than 800 participants attended the EGC 2016, bringing together stakeholders from the entire Geothermal community for sessions covering science, markets, and social issues, an exhibition, courses, and side events.

Dr Andrew Jupe of Altcom presentetd a techical paper on "Probabilistic approaches in EGS seismic hazard assessment" in the scientific session on "EGS and Fractures".
